I've gotten a bit crazy lately about Polyvore, as you may have noticed and today I delved into creating home decor scenarios! Huzzah!
Here's what I've come up with so far...
THE ENTRY WAY
Here I've used wallpaper, a female sculpture and a brass knot sculpture all designed by Kelly Wearstler, a dish from Design Within Reach, vintage lamp from 1st Dibs, an antique mirror and the Jonathan Adler Bond desk, and two Knoll Platnner stools.
THE LIVING ROOM
For the living room I've chosen subtle dove gray paint, a Design Within Reach sofa with two pink silk flamestitch pillows, an Eames lounger, a gold Kartell Bourgie lamp and two Saarinen tulip, marble-topped side tables also from DWR, Kelly Wearstler brass kaleidoscopes, two fabulous vintage pink and brass chairs from 1st Dibs, the Meurice chandelier, Nixon marble-topped cocktail table, and the Bond console all from Jonathan Adler, and an exquisite painting done by artist, Michele Armas.
THE DINING ROOM
Finally, in the dining room we've got a vintage sputnik chandelier, a painting by James Nares, Louis Kartell Ghost chairs, and two Knoll Platner chairs, the Bond dining table from Jonathan Adler, DVF gold silverware, Kelly Wearstler for Pickard china, and Marc Blackwell "Southern Hemisphere" glassware from Barney's.
The centerpieces are stolen from the Fall 2012 RTW Jil Sander show and are genius bouquets positioned in clear perspex boxes....I think we may be seeing that trend in the event florals of some of the most fashionable hostesses.
So there you have it! Won't you stop by my imaginary home for a drink sometime?
ps- If you can't tell I'm completely obsessed with the Jonathan Adler Bond Collection. It's burled wood and lucite combo make me positively giddy with furniture lust!
