BUT, that's not what this post is about. This post is about one of my absolute favorite parts of my absolute favorite time of year. I'm talking about Christmastime, and I am most certainly talking about Christmas music! Many hard years of research went into what I'm about to share with you. I think you're ready.
IT'S RYAN'S ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS PLAYLIST!!!!
Here are some of the things I learned while compiling this list; NO ONE should EVER sing Santa Baby except Eartha Kitt, Jessica Simpson shouldn't be allowed to record a holiday album ever again, it is ok to add one non-Christmas song to the perfect playlist if it's featured in a favorite holiday film and Christmas is all you think about when you hear it, repeating the same songs but by different artists is acceptable only if you absolutely couldn't decide which one was better, as in the famous cases of Burl Ives vs. Gene Autry, Judy Garland vs. Mel Torme, and Bing Crosby vs. The Drifters. It becomes a case of the more the merrier!!!!! And your Christmas playlist CAN NOT be too long since, like me, you will be listening to it on repeat for an entire month and if it's too short it will get old fast....and no one wants to be tired of Christmas music before Christmas even arrives.
